Membership Development Officer
Full-time, permanent post
£18,000 - £20,000 pa. (depending on experience)

Building excellent, long term relationships with all our donors, especially our members, is vitally important for the long-term future of the Wildlife Trust. The post holder will promote and increase the membership of Cheshire Wildlife Trust, support and develop our successful membership retention scheme and build relationships with all members and donors. They will also work with other members of the Development Team to develop an annual programme of successful recruitment events and venues for recruiters.

The successful candidate will need to have a good knowledge of customer/ membership recruiting techniques including experience of and confidence in telephone “sales”. They will have proven experience of achieving difficult targets in a competitive environment. They should have excellent customer care, communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to develop working relationships with a wide range of people. A high level of IT competency and knowledge of contact database systems would be an advantage. The post will be based at Bickley Hall Farm. This is a full-time post based upon 35 hrs per week but will definitely involve evening and weekend working.
