PRESS RELEASE

27th November 2007

Wrap up with Cheshire Wildlife Trust under the Christmas tree

Original and meaningful Christmas presents are hard to come by, so why not think green this year and help your friends and family get in touch with nature by giving the year-long pleasure of Cheshire Wildlife Trust membership?

Cheshire Wildlife Trust is dedicated to conserving the environment and its flora and fauna so that everyone can continue to enjoy the natural world today and in the future. By giving membership this Christmas you will be helping to protect some of the region’s most fragile areas and some of the rarest local species, Trust members also have the opportunity to get involved with a packed programme of events.

Members receive three copies a year of the award winning CWT magazine ‘The Grebe’ and of the national Wildlife Trust’s ‘Natural World’ magazine. They also get a guide to the nature reserves, invitations to local group talks, events, social evenings and opportunities to work as a volunteer. Family membership also gives access to the Watch Wildlife Club for children or grandchildren.

The minimum membership fee is £30 a year for an individual, £36 for joint and £42 for a family but most people choose to donate more. For a gift membership form please telephone: 01948 820 728.
