One of the largest area of fen and reed in the county, consisting of open water, reedswamp, tall fen and willow carr. Plant species of interest include marsh fern, cowbane, Cyperus sedge and wood horsetail

Knutsford Moor lies on the edge of Knutsford (O.S. Grid Ref.: SJ755788). It occupies 11 hectares (27 acres).
