Poors Wood

 A semi-natural woodland, damp in places, sloping steeply down to the River Weaver. The ground flora is dominated by bluebells in spring. There is a small area of grassland adjacents to the wood.

Location
Poors Wood lies near Northwich, in Vale Royal (O.S. Grid Ref.: SJ650714). It occupies 4.5 hecates (11.1 acres).

 

Access
Open to all. Please keep to the public footpath and towpath.
