Volunteering
Volunteers are the foundation upon which The Wildlife Trusts movement has been built, and they are an integral part of our success. Our 300+ volunteers play a vital role in helping us to deliver our conservation work and achieve our vision of ‘a Cheshire region richer in wildlife by 2020'.
There are lots of different ways to get involved in volunteering with Cheshire Wildlife Trust, from one off events to regular volunteering sessions, in locations right across the Cheshire region.
Our volunteers carry out a huge range of tasks, from wildlife gardening to species surveys, from looking after nature reserves to running Wildlife Watch groups for children. Opportunities don't have to be outdoors – we could also make good use of your IT, administrative, financial or people skills in our office at Bickley Hall Farm.
Volunteering with us will allow you to get involved with and enjoy the wildlife close to your home or help us to improve or protect the local area. Volunteering can also be a great pathway into employment, add new transferable skills to your CV, allow you to meet new people and have lots of fun along the way!
